Blake Healy, renowned for co-writing the multi-platinum hit “Shake It” with Metro Station, channels his vast experience and unparalleled creativity into Los Angeles’ Rillakill, delivering eclectic sounds that reverberate across film, television, and major brands.

Healy has written and produced songs for brands including JC Penney, Yoplait, Kohler, Virgin Voyages, ABC, NBC, Fox, and Apple.

Rillakill, under the creative direction of Healy, seamlessly navigates a wide variety of genres, from the pulsating rhythms of dance to the melodic allure of pop and the retro vibes of synthpop. His collaborative ventures shine, having teamed up with artists such as Mozella, Marc Scibilia, Daisy Dash, Ryan Cassata, and Brandyn Burnette. Notably, Rillakill’s music has graced the soundtracks of Netflix’s “Feel the Beat,” the Jennifer Lopez-fronted “Second Act,” and the compelling Netflix documentary “Social Animals.”

With Rillakill, the goal is to make fun and quirky music with no rules. Some musicians might say, “what is true art?” Rillakill says, “what does this button do?”

“I want to make music that’s fun and a little weird,” says Blake Healy of his multi-genre, Los Angeles based collective. “I like to get together with great singers and ask them to rap.”
